I am so excited about Log Cabin Ranch’s cooking activities. Last semester we began an international approach in which the students “travel” to a different region of the world through flavors and cultural information. So far our culinary adventures’ highlights have been traveling to all corners of the world like the Mediterranean & India. For this trip our menu was baklava, pita, falafel, garden kale palak paneer, garden tabouleh, tahini sauce, and chicken curry. Other places that we have “visited” have been: Italy, China, Thailand, Soul Food, and Central America. Note that this is the first time that I’ve allowed the use of meat during the cooking class. The guys earned it!!!
