On May 1st, we held our 3rd annual Greens, Eggs, and Jam Brunch at Ida B. Wells High School. This was our largest turn-out ever and it was fantastic to see everyone. Our guests were treated to a fabulous brunch prepared by the chefs from: Contigo, nopa, Radio Africa and Kitchen, and our own Urban Sprouts student chefs.
Over 140 people toured our garden, ate tasty food, and learned about the work that we do here in San Francisco building healthy schools and communities. If you were unable to attend but would still like to make a financial contribution please donate HERE. Your donation will enable us to continue to support school gardens at 7 San Francisco public middle and high schools reaching over 750 students and their families with in-school garden-based education.
