Keeping resources in the garden with worm compost.

WATCH THIS VIDEO: A student videographer checks out one of our worm bins. We regularly harvest worm castings from these bins to enrich the soil, especially in raised beds. These worms are bedded in shredded office paper, eat the left over fruit and veggies from our tastings and help close the cycle of nutrients in our little garden system.

We’ve been building bigger bins at all the schools, updating our older bench/bins with more space for both composting and comfortable seating in the garden.
