During the 2012-2013 school year we will partner with 12 classrooms each semester, working with an estimated 60 students over the course of the year. June Jordan School for Equity Class is taught Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

A wonderful culmination of the school year occurred this past Saturday when a group of students from June Jordan School for Equity sold produce and seedlings from their school garden at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market. Thanks to Rico Montenegro and The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation we now have a full on orchard with multiple varieties of pear, apple, plum, orange, lemon and lime trees at JJSE.
